What I Want

I want to be around people who help me to grow, I want to love easily and often, I want to be amazed with life, I want a big percentage of my day to be spent laughing, I want to make people feel good about themselves, I want to feel good about myself, I want to be your friend, I want to learn from you, I want to teach you something new, I want to work hard/play hard, I want to be fair, I want to see the beauty in everything, I want to be surprised, I want to see colors more brightly, I want to create, I want to judge less, I want to forgive, I want to be transparent, I want to be happy.

I've Learned...

I've learned that everyone likes being liked.
I've learned that I choose everyday how people perceive me.
I've learned that every minute counts.
I've learned that if I want to meet new people, I have to be willing to try some things all on my own and not depend on someone to go with me.
I've learned that it's worth it to take chances.
I've learned that I like my time alone.
I've learned that I don't need to get married and have kids to be worth something.
I've learned that I'm more enjoyable to be around when I lighten up.
I've learned that I can be funny.
I've learned that we all have untapped resources, and it's when we can be quite and listen without falling asleep that we can tap into them.
