Most Recently Awesome
Here's the shit that's keeping me amused right now.
Favorite iPod podcast:
Of course, I'm enjoying my Chelsea Handler podcast, but another podcast that I heart is Tim and Eric. If you don't have an iPod, no worries. You can still check out their podcast Here.
Best recent movie: V for Vendetta. I say, "V for Awesome." I was entertained from beginning to end. I know it isn't a recent movie, but we caught it at the cheap theatre.
Most recent downloads:
1) a bunch of Garrison Keillor and Prairie Home Companion. What better to have in the pod than some classic Keillor stories and the news from Lake Wobegon.
2) Martha Wainwright. Rufus still has my heart, but Martha knows how to put it out there.

I'll be honest with you: most of the time, I have no clue as to who all these people within the entertainment industry are that I find on your blog [does that sentence make any sense at all? Grammatically, I mean]. Obviously I come from a planet with an entirely different frame of reference as regards the entertainment industry -- it's called Europe. It's just around the corner from Jupiter. But I keep coming back to your blog -- if only to stalk you and post irrelevant comments like this.....Somehow I am intrigued. That's a good thing by the way.
Yay yay -- how's it going like?
I am about to receive my very first ipod. I may need your help working out this newfangled contraption.
lilly- thanks. :) I'm glad you come back anyway. I hope you check out some of the stuff. I do try to link to places you can check out. I'd love to hear some of the music and films that you like. I also think Denmark seems like a great place to hail from. When I went to an international summer school in Poland a couple of summers ago, the students from Denmark were the coolest. I am a pop culture junky, but I also really enjoy international music and films. :)
brooke- Excellent! Congratulations :). Ask away. If I don't know, I'll help you find a site that does. I've probably searched it before. Good news is there are lots of forums that will lead you through any problems you have. That's sweet. I so never tire of my ipod. I think I'll name it. I already sleep with it. That's sad, huh?
I really recommend the Prairie Home Companion movie, if you haven't seen it yet.
Keillor and Altman both excel in their respective fields in creating an atmosphere with words and with people, so putting them together seems like one of those things that should have been staring us in the face the whole time.
It's a good flick...
tommy- I'm totally stoked to see it.
How was Lindsey Lohan? I find it so odd they cast her. The rest of the cast sounds perfect.
She fits. I was a little curious going in, but I bought what she did.
She didn't seem over her head, at any rate.
I do, Poo, I do :-) It's always cool getting a dose of someone else's 'culture'. Especially if it's an awesome person's culture.
The Danes were the coolest on that summer school??
