All Eyes on Joey Polanski

I'm really linking this solely to be able to post this hot picture, but Joey Polanski definately has a great theory.

I have always wondered though what the male fascination could be with cartoons. I'm close to positive (and female readers are welcome to correct me) that women do not drool over male cartoon figures. I still have to admit, however, that Catra up there is pretty freakin' hot, but who wouldn't be in those boots? But even with my semi-healthy although sometimes morbid fascination with all things related to the He-Man Universe, I still didn't have a crush on He-Man. At least I don't think I did.

Anyway, Polanski has pieced together a very interesting theory about hot cartoon characters and red hair. I'm happy with his conclusion:

"What do men realy want?" -- rmember this: We want wimmin who are red, hot, curvy, an lackin any kinda depth!

Except the lacking depth part. Not so sure I've got the right kind of curves either, but I did decide to keep the red. I made it permanent yesterday and it's a much more intense red. I may not keep it, but I thought, if you're gonna do it, might as well go all out.

Laters.

I thought Jughead was cuter than Archie. I cannot believe I'm saying this. I was a total Archie comics whore. But we traveled a lot, so all I had were my Archies and Mad Magazine. My parents still travel, and my little sister has a fucking dvd player dammit.

I really liked He-Man, but I've never been one for the huge muscly type. If there was a Stephen Colbert cartoon, there might be my crush.

Wow, I'm extra talky today.

Somehow I missed the whole He-Man thing even though other kids were into it. I've always been more Batman (Frank Miller's) guy. Well, I liked/like Wolverine and Daredevil too. I think it's mostly because they're closer to ordinary people, just bit extra. lol

Especially those darker ones. I also like Wolverine's attitude. Hmm.. Now I just might have to go get the box from basement. Yes, the COMIC box. ;)

And about the red hair. Some people just look great in red and some just look better. ;) Even though I have this secret crush on red heads, I've always ended up dating blondes.. ..oh, one brunette, but that was a disaster.

Well, here's a little perspective from a woman...I have NEVER found a male cartoon character attractive. Women cartoon characters, yes, but I don't sit and drool over them and paste them on my walls. But wait, does my opinion still count since I'm a lesbian? Hmmm. Ah well, just adding my 2 cents! :-P I bet you look good in red! Does flattery count for anything? Maybe it did, but doesn't now that I've assumed you might be flattered? *sigh* I'm getting off topic...referring to Polanski's comment, thats not how I would view it. But I guess thats men for ya! Anyway, great blog! I've enjoyed reading it.

joey- yeah, i surprised myself there. i guess you caught me. if you can get me to admit things so easily, maybe you should be my therapist. ;)

dob- you missed the whole He-Man thing!? wtf? i liked the batman cartoons too.

amy- flattery gets you everywhere, not that i have to be flattered to give out my love and devotion. i'm pawning it off on people left and right ;).

Well, I guess I didn't have to resort to flattery to get me somewhere, though it did get your attention, huh? :-P Maybe that was my plan all along. Since you're 'pawning' it off on everyone so freely, guess something must be done to stay a cut above the rest. Seems like a challenge, I love a challenge.

Well, I was in the fast lane to becoming a geek. We didn't have a tv from when I was 2 to when I was 14. I didn't miss it though, I had so much to do with my RC cars, planes and geeky things.

Then after repairing dad's old Lp player for myself, I went through his records.. ..I sold most of my cars and planes and got myself more records and later a guitar.. ..and rest is history.

My "escape" was books and comics. Of course I saw cartoons at my friends, but that was enough for me at the time.

amy- are you flirting with me? ;)

marti- okay, thanks babe, i'll be right over.

dob- wow, no tv, huh? that's rough, but you probably had a much more active mind than we tv whores.
